Mulligan Rule

I propose the addition of a "Mulligan Rule" to our fantasy football league, a rule that would elevate the game to a new level of fairness and strategy. This rule would grant every team owner a valuable opportunity to replace any player who exits the game due to injury with a player from their bench who is eligible to play the same position. Such a provision would reduce the frustration of losing key players early in a matchup and level the playing field for all participants. By implementing the Mulligan Rule, we would enhance the overall enjoyment and competitiveness of our league while encouraging more thoughtful bench management and player selection throughout the season.

  • “I'm not super opposed but leaning toward no because it rewards injury which is not like a moral thing it's just if your best players don't get injured you're penalized in a roundabout way that I don't love.”

  • “Please for the love of God, no.”

  • “Fantasy Survivor had injuries too. Its part of the game. The concept of All Play Fantasy Football already helps against these scenarios because the other 13 players can benefit equally from an injury week for one player/team. Would see this thriving more in a head to head style league.”
